The Vancouver Independent Music Centre (VIM) and the Firehall Arts Centre are pleased to present the third season of Music in the Courtyard, an exciting and eclectic open air series of music for all ears.

The 2022 Music in the Courtyard series will be held most weekends, from Saturday, July 30 to Sunday, September 4. Concerts will take place in the outdoor courtyard of the Firehall Arts Centre Friday to Saturday at 7:30 pm, and Sundays at 3:00 pm, with the exception of the first evening.

The Opening Weekend, featuring Noodle Connection with Kokuho Rose Prohibited on Saturday evening, July 30 and Niho, Fito, Y Marlin on Sunday, July 31, was programmed in partnership with the Powell Street Festival. Guest curator, Elaine Bomberry selected the Murray Porter Band, Curtis Clear Sky & Constellationz and Matt Cook-Contois & Eagle Ex Machina for the series. Aram Bajakian selected Andrea Wong (Public Dreams), Sara Kim (Omianan) and x/o, each of whom decided which projects (in brackets) to present.

Tickets are being offered on a sliding scale from $15 to $25 and it is strongly recommended that you purchase in advance as capacity is limited.
